How do I become Muslim?

Islam is not a hereditory religion and is open for all mankind. A Muslim is a person who believes that there is no deity except Allah, and that Muhammed is the last and final messenger of Allah sent to mankind, and must then be willing to submit to the command of Allah.

Therefore anyone who believes in this, needs to only testify their belief with the testification of faith. Once this is done, Allah forgives all previous sins and the person is sinless.

The Shahaadah (The testification of faith)

I testify that there is nothing worthy of worship except Allah, and I testify that Muhammed is the Messenger of Allah.

ash-hadu anlaa ilaaha ill-allah,  wa ash-hadu anna Muhammad ur rasool Allah
